Cooper's Furnace, Cartersville, Georgia

As promised, here's the photo of the furnace at the day use area of Lake Allatoona where Tom and Bev volunteer. This was part of a mill that existed to make pig iron. A train brought the materials in and remains of the trestle are nearby. As you can see, the Corp of Engineers have fenced it off but for special occasions they allow it to be used for a backdrop for wedding pictures.

You are having a great adventure and it's a blast to follow along. Hope you didn't freeze with the weather we just had...

Glad your both doing better, and I have been putting off getting my colan exam, but now will schedule for ASAP..The puppy is cute and looks like Bob. Hope you stayed dry from all that rain, and hope you both are making the best of retirement. We just returned from NY to see Linda's folks that are getting up there, and that was a long drive of 24 hours each way. I love your bolg and want to see what your up to everyday...Keep it coming...
